During the early 20th Century, the Pagan Sisterhood flourished here at Fenwood.   We have learned that young Rose Payne, future mother of Mildred, was inducted into the cult at age 14.   In this previously unreleased photo, we see 14 year old Rose (3rd girl in from right), fresh as a flower, frolicking with her virgin sisters during the Summer Solstice of 1902.   Little did she know that sunshine would be scarce in her life from this day forward...

The Uncanny Rose

A previously unknown photograph has come to the attention of Fenwood Asylum, filling some gaps about what we know of Mildred Payne's mother, Rose.The photo depicts a young Rose (age 16) at what appears to be some sort of dinner, along with two unidentified women.From the looks of the photo, we now suspect that Rose may have dabbled in witchcraft herself, although we can only speculate on the extent of her powers.Although we know that she was of gypsy decent, we may be able to piece the puzzle together better once we learn Rose's maiden name.*Rose was found murdered behind a tool...

Claire Identified?

  After scouring the Fenwood Asylum archives for days without rest, we have discovered an intriguing photograph tucked away between two pieces of sandwich bread.The photo depicts what appears to be Mildred Payne (on viewers left) and an unknown female on the right.  The inscription around this girl reads, "My Darling Claire, 1929". The handwriting matches samples of Mildred's penmanship.Going by this new information, it appears that Claire may have been an actual person, and not just a doll.After further investigation, we have uncovered documents stating that there was once an inmate named Claire Parker here at Fenwood who died...

The Fenwood Coven of 1913

  New clues have surfaced following the exhumation of our misunderstood heroine, Mildred Payne. In this recently discovered photo, we see 4 mysterious members of what was known as "The Fenwood Coven".These women were rumored responsible for a series of unsolved murders in the Valley Park, Foster's Meadow Township, however, no conclusive evidence of them being involve in a crime was ever produced.How these vile witches came to know Mildred is yet unknown.As always, our investigation continues....

  In a recently discovered photograph, we see a pensive Mildred Payne looking towards a future that would never be. Hemlock House sits in like a mausoleum in the background. It was here, on the grounds of Fenwood, that the first birds became demons....
