Mildred the Protector

Mildred Payne was an extremely gifted child. At an early age she demonstrated talents that far surpassed those of her Gypsy mother, Rose.

(Mother Rose was said to have been stalked by a presence known only as "Omul", however, Mildred's ability to "see" the spirit world so clearly kept potentially harmful entities at bay.)
