The notorious “Eule Sisters” of Fenwood.
Helga, Elsie, and Gerta. Rumored to have poisoned their mother over an inheritance. (Unsubstantiated claim) Together they lived in an imaginary world of utter delusion, believing they were owls. They were often seen brazenly parading down Main Street hooting and howling at the townsfolk, believing them to be giant mice.
In 1926, the sisters were committed to Fenwood Asylum, where they continued to wear their bird outfits until their deaths years later.
