Canular Tarot of 1749 (LIMITED MAJORS ONLY)

“Tarot du Canular”
Major Arcana -1749
According to Fenwood legend, the “Tarot du Canular” was one packet among several mysterious card bundles discovered in 1909, sealed inside a stone bust of Sister Josephine of la Cathédrale des Veilleurs, France.
The reliquary was alledgedly concealed for centuries behind a large cabochon latch set into her chest, filled with bone fragments said to belong to various saints. The bundle of tarot cards bears the date 1749. No printer’s mark survives.
The deck is said to have passed quietly through several private collections over the decades before entering the archives of Fenwood Asylum in 2022.
Only the Major Arcana are known to remain; the minor suits are believed forever lost to time.
Painstakingly revived after many years by the Fenwood Bureau of Artifacts, this fragmented facsimile will be offered to the public.
