Sister Josephine's Hoard

Sister Josephine’s Hoard

According to Fenwood legend, Sister Josephine’s Hoard was discovered in 1909, concealed within a stone bust of the mysterious nun at la Cathédrale des Veilleurs, France.

Hidden inside were several strange bundles of cards and curious artifacts, some dating back more than 250 years. Their origins remain uncertain, with many bearing no printer’s mark or record of their makers.

Over the decades, pieces of the Hoard passed quietly through private collections before eventually finding their way into the archives of Fenwood Asylum.

Today, the surviving cards are being painstakingly catalogued and revived by the Fenwood Bureau of Artifacts, making Sr. Josephine’s forgotten treasures available to all.
